Mid/Senior QA Engineer – UI/UX & Frontend Testing

About the role

Softeta is seeking a Mid‑to‑Senior QA Engineer with a strong focus on UI/UX and frontend testing. You will own the quality of web applications, ensuring they are intuitive, visually consistent and reliable across browsers and devices.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements and designs to spot functional and usability gaps early.
• Perform manual functional, regression and exploratory testing, concentrating on frontend behavior and UI/UX.
• Validate layouts, navigation and interactions across different browsers, screen sizes and devices.
• Test end‑to‑end user journeys and edge cases, maintaining risk‑based test cases.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and product stakeholders to investigate defects and improve usability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of QA experience, primarily in manual testing of web applications.
• Proven experience testing UI/UX, responsive interfaces and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Strong test design abilities and the capacity to plan and prioritize testing independently.
• Analytical thinking with great attention to detail.

Required skills

• Browser developer tools.
• API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Accessibility and frontend performance testing.
