Operations Officer – Accounts Payable Assignment

About the role

Join Danske Bank's Accounts Payable team in Vilnius as an Operations Officer focused on invoice assignment. You will work within the Assignment sub‑team handling the coding, validation and primary accounting of invoices for the Northern Ireland process.

Key responsibilities

• Assign and code incoming invoices according to the chart of cost accounts.
• Follow up on invoices that are not controlled, approved, returned or rejected.
• Provide email and virtual‑channel support to internal stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve invoice‑processing issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of assignment processes.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance environment (beneficial).
• High accuracy, attention to detail and a motivated work approach.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Upper‑intermediate English speaking and writing skills.
