Payments Support Associate

About the role

The Payments Support Associate provides front‑line assistance to Shift4’s diverse customer base, helping them navigate payment‑related inquiries and ensuring smooth use of Shift4’s flagship products such as Lighthouse Transaction Manager, Universal Transaction Gateway and Skytab.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with clients via phone, email, chat and ticketing systems to resolve payment‑related questions.
• Guide customers through website navigation, statements, contracts and order management.
• Document inquiries and outcomes thoroughly for tracking and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to determine appropriate actions and follow‑up on tickets.
• Provide pre‑installation assessments and training on Shift4 products.

Required profile

• Ability to work afternoon/evening or early‑morning shifts.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for PC‑related issues.
• Quick learner with self‑motivation and ability to multitask.
• Assertive, diplomatic and excellent communication abilities.
