Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Procurement Engineer will support the successful delivery of real‑estate development projects by preparing budgets, analysing documentation and ensuring a smooth procurement process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update construction budgets, evaluate quantities and planned costs.
• Analyse project, technical and cost documentation to define procurement scope and technical requirements.
• Draft inquiries for contractors and suppliers and manage procurement competitions for works, goods and services.
• Communicate with contractors, suppliers and the internal project team, handling technical and commercial negotiations.
• Analyse and compare received offers, verify compliance with project documents and budget, and provide recommendations.
• Monitor procurement budget execution, record changes and contribute to cost‑optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Higher education in construction engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, cost estimation, design or procurement.
• Ability to read and analyse project and technical documentation and assess quantities and pricing.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, independence and good planning skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
