Product Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Product Cybersecurity Engineer to embed security‑by‑design principles throughout our product lifecycle. You will work directly with software developers, system architects, quality and regulatory teams to protect connected platforms, embedded devices and cloud interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Own the security‑by‑design lifecycle, conduct threat modeling (STRIDE/HEAVENS) and design secure architecture for devices, APIs and backend connectivity.
• Validate edge‑security controls such as secure boot, cryptographic storage, OTA firmware updates and encrypted communications.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, hands‑on security testing and coordinate external penetration testing.
• Tri­age zero‑day vulnerabilities, analyse SBOMs and guide developers in remediation.
• Translate security controls into technical risk‑management documentation to meet international safety and cybersecurity standards.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in product security, application security, embedded systems security or DevSecOps.
• Proven ability to collaborate empathetically with developers while balancing security requirements and delivery speed.
• Familiarity with regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CSSLP, CEH, Security+, CISSP are advantageous.
