About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to drive the product development and vehicle purchasing strategy for Autolux, the official Hertz representative in the Baltic region. The role will shape the fleet offering, optimise acquisition costs and ensure profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive vehicle purchasing and product development strategy aligned with company growth, profitability and investment goals.
• Define purchasing processes, decision‑making principles, performance metrics and evaluation criteria.
• Build, mentor and coordinate a high‑performing product development and purchasing team.
• Manage the vehicle portfolio – select models, set pricing, control margins and oversee segment mix.
• Lead high‑level negotiations with manufacturers, importers and strategic partners.
• Assess the full vehicle lifecycle from acquisition cost and operating expenses to resale value and ROI.
• Implement a unified purchasing model across multiple markets while balancing centralized and local decisions.
• Enhance data‑driven decision making, streamline and automate daily purchasing processes.
• Collaborate with the CEO, finance, commercial and other functional leaders on decisions that directly impact business results.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of professional and leadership experience in automotive, mobility services, leasing, fleet management, vehicle trading or purchasing.
• Proven track record of creating and delivering long‑term strategies with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience building or transforming organisations, teams, processes and operating models.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex negotiations with manufacturers, importers or large business partners.
• Strong understanding of vehicle acquisition, operating costs, pricing, profitability and residual value.
• Decision‑making capability that balances diverse interests and takes ownership of results.
• Excellent command of English; additional regional language skills are a plus.
