QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for our enterprise Windows infrastructure and applications. The role combines hands‑on scripting with integration into CI/CD pipelines, offering a chance to improve quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Windows‑based infrastructure and applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain functional, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end automated tests.
• Develop Python and PowerShell automation scripts and supporting utilities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain automation frameworks, test documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing frameworks, automation practices, and development processes.

Required profile

• Experience with Python and test automation frameworks such as pytest or Testinfra.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and automation methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Zephyr).
• Experience with CI/CD platforms, preferably Jenkins.
• Competence with version control systems, especially Git.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Professional proficiency in both Lithuanian and English.
