SAP Technical Specialist (Basis, ILM, ALM)

About the role

Telia’s Corporate Technologies and Services department is looking for an SAP Technical Specialist to support day‑to‑day operations across its Nordic SAP landscape. The role focuses on SAP Basis, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) while ensuring stable system performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support for SAP Basis, ILM, ALM or Solution Manager, handling incidents, troubleshooting and system monitoring.
• Monitor background jobs, interfaces, transports and overall system health to guarantee stable operations.
• Own incident and service request resolution according to agreed OLAs, perform root‑cause analysis and document outcomes.
• Support change, release and transport management following ALM/Solution Manager best practices.
• Configure and maintain SAP ILM activities, including data archiving, retention execution and regulatory compliance.
• Execute technical housekeeping and data‑lifecycle procedures to sustain performance and compliance.
• Assist project and enhancement tasks such as configuration support, testing (UT, SIT, UAT), documentation and go‑live stabilization.
• Work within ITIL, SAP change‑management standards and agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) using ServiceNow and JIRA.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in SAP Basis or related SAP technical operations.
• Working knowledge of SAP ALM processes, SAP Solution Manager, and SAP ILM concepts.
