Senior Android Engineer

About the role

Podimo, one of Europe’s fastest‑growing podcast and audiobook platforms, is looking for a Senior Android Engineer who will use AI‑assisted tools to ship high‑quality native experiences for millions of listeners. You will join the Membership squad, a cross‑functional team responsible for the entire subscriber lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android features in the Membership domain, including authentication, paywalls, subscriptions, billing (Google Play Billing) and related notifications.
• Leverage AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) to automate repetitive tasks while ensuring code quality and safety.
• Participate in product, design and UX discussions with PMs, designers, researchers and fellow engineers.
• Write unit tests, manage feature toggles, and ship changes safely using A/B testing.
• Contribute to Android tooling and help define organization‑wide agentic workflows.
• Review AI‑generated code, detect subtle bugs, and decide what is safe to release.
