Senior Backend Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join Trafi’s Public Transport Ticketing team. You will work on the core MaaS ticketing platform, designing, building and supporting backend services that enable multi‑modal journey planning for cities worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality C# code using the latest .NET stack.
• Design and deliver distributed micro‑service architectures that process data in real time.
• Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Develop, deploy and monitor services on AWS, including ECS and over 30 AWS services.
• Collaborate with engineers to define technical implementation plans.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with C# and Web API development.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and iterate with users.
