Senior Data Engineer – Trust & Safety

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join Vinted’s Trust & Safety Detection product team. You will help build a real‑time detection platform that protects our community from harmful activities and content.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement foundational data‑streaming capabilities for the detection platform.
- Solve complex, high‑impact technical problems across the full data pipeline.
- Identify bottlenecks in team efficiency and propose concrete improvements.
- Advocate for product, performance and safety enhancements.
Required profile
- Strong experience with data‑streaming frameworks; exposure to Flink is a strong plus.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Spark Streaming, Storm, Kafka Streams, Kinesis or similar technologies.
- Proficiency in Java or another JVM language.
- Solid understanding of agile development, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good grasp of core infrastructure components such as compute, storage and networking.
