Senior DevOps Engineer – Big Data & AI Platforms

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps engineer who will design, deploy and operate the infrastructure that powers our big‑data and generative AI solutions for clients in telecommunications, finance and investment management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for Cloudera, Spark, Hadoop and LLM‑powered services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, vector stores, MCP servers).
• Build secure, scalable AWS or Azure environments with multi‑account landing zones, networking, IAM and identity integration.
• Automate deployments with Terraform and Ansible, manage secrets via AWS Secrets Manager, Vault or KMS.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, ArgoCD) for infrastructure, data applications and AI services.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS) for GPU/CPU inference and batch jobs, ensuring resource efficiency.
• Implement observability using Prometheus, Zabbix, Grafana and cloud‑native tools, monitoring model latency, error rates and cost.
• Collaborate with network and security teams to secure connectivity (VPNs, Transit Gateway, private endpoints) and meet compliance requirements.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on DevOps or SRE experience, preferably with big‑data or AI/ML platforms.
• Strong Linux (RHEL) administration, scripting and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven experience with AWS or Azure cloud services and Kubernetes at scale.
• Expertise in infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD tooling.
• Solid understanding of networking, security and hybrid cloud environments.
• Curiosity about generative AI and willingness to use AI‑assisted development tools.
