Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure for a global technology services client. The role involves ensuring scalability, reliability and security of applications across AWS, Google Cloud Platform and other services while collaborating with engineers, product managers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP, including Application Gateway, AKS, Functions, VMs and API Management.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform.
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes.
• Create PowerShell automation scripts to streamline routine tasks.
• Monitor, optimise performance, availability and cost of cloud resources while ensuring security and compliance.
• Mentor team members and contribute to raising technical maturity of projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Application Gateway, AKS, Functions, VMs and API Management.
• Strong background in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to work independently, mentor others and drive technical excellence.
