Senior Full-Stack Engineer / Tech Lead

About the role

Guru Pay is seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer / Tech Lead to own the technical direction of a core product area such as onboarding, Internet Bank or mobile. The role is hands‑on, combining architecture, coding and production support across backend, web and mobile.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the architecture and technical roadmap for the assigned product area.
• Write production‑grade code for backend services (PHP/Laravel, Go), frontend applications (React, TypeScript) and mobile apps (React Native, Expo).
• Make decisions on service boundaries, APIs, contracts and data flows, documenting trade‑offs.
• Set and enforce standards for code quality, automated testing, CI/CD and overall engineering practices.
• Identify technical risks early, balance speed, security, reliability and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform/DevOps, Compliance, Risk, Security and external partners to deliver production‑ready solutions.
• Own observability, incident response and continuous improvement of production health.
• Reduce technical debt and knowledge silos, and promote AI‑assisted coding and shared tooling.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience building and operating production web systems.
• Proven track record as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer or senior technical owner.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with PHP/Laravel and React/TypeScript.
• Full‑stack experience covering backend services and customer‑facing front‑ends.
• Experience designing APIs, distributed systems and asynchronous architectures.
• Ability to own software end‑to‑end from architecture through deployment and support.
