Senior In-House Lawyer

About the role

BURGA is looking for a Senior In-House Lawyer to lead its legal and regulatory strategy across all markets. You will act as a trusted adviser to the C‑suite, turning complex legal challenges into clear, commercially sound guidance while helping to shape the company’s rapid international growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute BURGA’s regulatory and legal strategy in every jurisdiction where it operates.
• Advise senior leadership and cross‑functional teams on commercial, consumer‑protection and e‑commerce matters.
• Design the structure, processes and playbooks of the legal function as the business scales.
• Manage the IP portfolio, including registration, maintenance and enforcement of trademarks and designs.
• Monitor EU and global regulatory developments and ensure compliance.
• Draft, negotiate and review a wide range of commercial contracts (influencer, service, NDA, manufacturing, construction, B2B).
• Support the Customer Service function with complaints handling and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• 5+ years of strategic legal or compliance experience in e‑commerce, retail, consumer goods or tech, either in‑house or at a law firm.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi‑jurisdictional matters in a fast‑growing environment.
• Hands‑on experience working with customer‑service teams on complaints and dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of EU consumer‑protection and e‑commerce law.
