Senior iOS Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior iOS Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI and Objective‑C. You will be involved in the full software development life‑cycle—from gathering requirements to deployment—while collaborating with product managers, analysts and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Gather and analyse requirements for new features and enhancements.
• Develop and maintain iOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI, Objective‑C and Xcode.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and work with iOS frameworks like Core Data and Core Animation.
• Perform performance and memory tuning using profiling tools.
• Implement push notifications and cloud messaging services.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Use Git for version control, conduct code reviews and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, continuously improve development processes.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing iOS applications with Swift, SwiftUI and Objective‑C.
• Strong knowledge of Xcode, the iOS SDK and Apple’s design guidelines.
• Experience with agile methodologies and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, automated testing and DevOps concepts.
