SOC Analyst – 24/7 Threat Detection & Response

About the role

Join the Telia Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) SOC team to protect a growing portfolio of customers across multiple industries. As a SOC Analyst you will be on the front line of defence, turning security signals into decisive actions and keeping threats out.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, EDR/XDR and other telemetry sources.
• Investigate incidents end‑to‑end, assess impact, and drive containment and response.
• Proactively hunt for threats and fine‑tune detection rules, use cases and correlation logic to reduce false positives.
• Document findings, write recommendations and incident reports for customers.
• Communicate clearly with customers throughout the investigation process.

Required profile

• Curiosity, ownership and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Hands‑on experience in a SOC, incident response or blue‑team role (or strong demonstrable skills for early‑career candidates).
• Solid understanding of SIEM and EDR/XDR concepts, log analysis and common attack techniques (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Working knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux internals and cloud security fundamentals.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian.
