Strategic Purchasing Specialist – Security Systems

About the role

Teltonika Security Systems is looking for a Strategic Purchasing Specialist to lead component procurement strategy, supplier selection, and cost management for its security system portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a component purchasing strategy.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and partners.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts covering price and commercial terms.
• Monitor component prices, market trends, and supply‑risk factors.
• Search for alternative components and suppliers to mitigate risk.
• Manage and optimise component costs, contributing to overall cost reduction.
• Track component lifecycle and End‑of‑Life risks.
• Collaborate with R&D on component alternatives and resolve technical/commercial issues.
• Analyse supplier offers and market data to achieve the best price‑quality‑availability balance.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, supply‑chain, electronic components or a related field.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive in finding alternative sourcing solutions.
• Comfortable handling large data sets and making data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English.
• Initiative, responsibility and result‑orientation.
• Familiarity with electronic components and their market is a strong plus.
