Social Media Lead for Crypto Trading Platform

About the role

We’re seeking a chronically online Social Media Lead to drive Kraken Pro social channels. Understanding the brand ethos, mission, and the communities we serve is essential, with social at the forefront.

Key responsibilities

• Craft scroll‑stopping, platform‑native content for X, Telegram, and other channels to maximize impact and reach.
• Spot trends and reactive moments across CT/FinTwit and broader social, then rapidly create timely, on‑brand content.
• Engage actively with the Kraken Pro audience by replying, quoting, polling, meme‑making, and fostering meaningful conversation.
• Maintain an always‑on content calendar: create posts, route for approvals, schedule, publish, and monitor performance.
• Translate product and ecosystem news into clear, compelling narratives for the community.
• Track growth and performance metrics, iterating based on insights and experiments.
• Partner with Legal and Communications to ensure compliant, accurate messaging across regions and platforms.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in social media or content, preferably in fintech, crypto, or trading.
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly under pressure and meet fast‑moving market demands.
• High competency with AI tools to amplify impact and manage workload.
• Versatile creator capable of copy, memes, short‑form video, charts, and threads without relying on a design queue.
• Strong sense of timing – knowing when not to post is as valuable as knowing when to post.
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
