Software Engineer – Angular Front‑End Developer

About the role

StormGeo is looking for a Software Engineer specialized in Angular to join its s‑Insights team. The role focuses on building and modernising front‑end applications that deliver real‑time weather insights for the maritime industry. You will work remotely or from the Vilnius/Kаunas office, collaborating with a global team.

Key responsibilities

• Modernise and optimise user interfaces for scalability and performance.
• Build intuitive applications that leverage real‑time weather data.
• Contribute to shared component libraries used across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with UX/UI experts to create seamless user experiences.
• Work with the team from specifications through deployment and maintenance.

Required profile

• 3+ years of production experience with Angular.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience integrating APIs into front‑end applications.
• Passion for UI/UX best practices, accessibility and performance.
• Security‑aware mindset in front‑end development.
• Collaborative team player who enjoys refining ideas.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency in English for global collaboration.

Required skills

• Experience with frontend testing frameworks (unit, integration, end‑to‑end).
• Familiarity with containerised environments such as Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions.
