Software Engineer – C#/.NET (Vilnius)

About the role

Join the Markets Post‑Trade Technology tribe at Danske Bank, delivering efficient back‑office IT solutions for market activities. Based in Vilnius, you’ll work in a hybrid model with a team of engineers and analysts across three countries, building scalable tax and Xceptor services in the cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure .NET solutions that meet business needs.
• Review code of peers and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables within an agile scrum team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Enhance deployment pipelines and application architecture.
• Support and maintain production systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a C# developer.
• Strong knowledge of object‑oriented design and software engineering principles.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Required skills

• C# and .NET (including .NET 10).
• SQL Server.
• Azure DevOps (Azure Pipelines, YAML).
• GitHub Actions.
• AWS.
• OpenShift and containerisation.
• CI/CD pipeline development.
