Software Engineer I – Manual Testing

About the role

Moog is looking for a Software Engineer I focused on manual testing to join its Vilnius team. You will work on diverse technical challenges, ensuring software quality while collaborating with developers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, write and execute manual test cases based on specifications.
• Identify, log and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
• Maintain and update test documentation and reports.
• Apply testing methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6 months of hands‑on experience in manual software testing.
• Willingness to work with various testing tools and techniques.
• Exposure to defect‑tracking tools such as Jira (beneficial).
• Good understanding of testing methodologies; ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Lithuanian, both written and spoken.
• Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
