Team Lead – EDD Operations (KYC)

About the role

Join Luminor's Lithuania team as a Team Lead for the EDD Operations/KYC unit. You will drive the execution of Customer Due Diligence processes, ensure compliance with AML/CFT standards, and lead a high‑performing team to deliver consistent, high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure efficient execution of Customer Due Diligence processes in line with Luminor standards.
• Organise daily task distribution and coordinate with other Team Leads across the Baltic region.
• Identify and flag operational risks, proposing additional controls for AML/CFT, fraud and sanctions.
• Initiate and implement process improvements for pan‑Baltic alignment and efficiency.
• Monitor team performance, conduct regular quality reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop, track and act on team KPIs, arranging training or QA activities when needed.
• Maintain robust AFC risk‑management processes and keep them up‑to‑date with regulatory changes.
• Support professional development of subordinates through 1:1 discussions, onboarding, and succession planning.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a compliance‑focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions and Customer Due Diligence procedures.
• Experience in risk identification, mitigation and process optimisation.
• Capability to delegate authority appropriately and manage performance against KPIs.
• Commitment to Luminor values, cross‑divisional collaboration and delivering excellent customer experience.
