About the role
The company is building a modern factory in Marijampolė and seeks a leader for the Technology and Energy Department. You will define goals, plan work, manage budgets and oversee the safe, reliable operation of all plant systems.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the Technology department: set objectives, plan shifts, allocate competencies and control the budget.
- Represent the client during equipment start‑up: coordinate suppliers and contractors, supervise testing, acceptance, defect removal and training.
- Ensure reliable and safe operation of production equipment, automation, energy systems and infrastructure.
- Design and run preventive and predictive maintenance programs; manage CMMS, failures, downtime and technical KPIs.
- Oversee spare‑parts inventory, contractor performance, warranties and CAPEX/OPEX for technical maintenance.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with mandatory checks, LOTO, DSS, fire safety and environmental regulations; report to the executive director.
Required profile
- Higher engineering degree in mechanics, electrical, automation, energy or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical maintenance of production equipment or engineering projects, including at least 3 years leading a technical team.
- Proven experience coordinating new production lines, factory tests, start‑up and acceptance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics, electricity, automation and infrastructure; ability to read technical schematics.
- Experience managing preventive maintenance, failures, KPIs, budgets, spare parts and contractors.
- Understanding of DSS, LOTO, fire safety and safe equipment operation principles.
- Good English (minimum B2), solid IT skills and a category B driver’s licence.
Required skills
- CMMS (e.g., AllDevice) management.
- TPM, RCA and Lean methodologies.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- LOTO and DSS safety procedures.
- Mechanical, electrical and automation engineering.
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics.
- Operation of bio‑fuel boiler systems (≈17.5 MW) and high‑voltage electricity networks (up to 35 kV).
- Relevant energy‑worker certification or equivalent qualifications.
