IT Administrator (Windows)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Administrator (Windows) to join our Technology team at a Lithuanian bank. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security and efficient operation of the organisation’s IT infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the organisation’s servers and other IT systems.
• Perform network configuration tasks and ensure smooth network connectivity.
• Plan and execute operating system (OS) and software updates.
• Maintain high availability, reliability and smooth operation of the IT infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Supervise backup creation and data recovery processes.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identify and resolve incidents.
• Prepare, update and manage IT infrastructure documentation.
• Collaborate with external service providers and internal employees.
• Participate actively in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.

Required profile

• Practical experience in IT systems administration.
• Knowledge of network architecture and configuration (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in OS update management and maintenance.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Knowledge of IT security principles, access management and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Ability to analyse issues, make decisions and work independently.
• Responsibility, initiative, strong teamwork skills and a desire to continuously learn.
