Chief People Officer

About the role

USIPRoyal is seeking a Chief People Officer to lead and shape the HR function for its global, fast‑growing team. You will own the HR roadmap, drive learning initiatives and ensure compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team while defining the long‑term HR strategy.
• Build learning and development programs, including career frameworks and leadership training.
• Advise the CEO and senior management on organisational design, performance and complex people decisions.
• Own compensation and benefits, manage salary bands and benchmarking.
• Run the end‑to‑end performance review cycle and enhance manager enablement.
• Ensure Lithuanian employment law compliance in partnership with external counsel.
• Maintain HiBob as the system of record and improve HR process automation.
• Drive AI enablement across the company, fostering skills and applying AI to HR operations.
• Participate as a full member of the leadership team, influencing business planning and priorities.

Required profile

• Strong experience leading an HR/People team and developing HR strategy.
• Proven track record building learning and development from scratch with measurable business impact.
• Experience managing international teams and supporting employees outside Lithuania.
• Deep practical knowledge of the Lithuanian Labour Code.
• Hands‑on experience with compensation structures, salary banding and benchmarking.
• Background in a fast‑moving scale‑up or tech environment.
• Confidence advising senior stakeholders and ability to disagree constructively.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms, specifically HiBob.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira.
• Practical experience applying AI in HR or learning & development contexts.
