Junior Local Operation Manager

About the role

Nordex is seeking a Junior Local Operation Manager to lead daily operations and ensure health, safety, and environmental standards in its Lithuanian service area. You will be the primary contact for customers and drive performance improvements across wind power sites.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee environmental and employee health & safety compliance.
• Manage daily operations and maintenance contracts for the local area.
• Assess and report on power site performance, developing improvement strategies.
• Lead the local service team, recruit and onboard new technicians.
• Ensure readiness of tools, resources, vans, and reporting for current and new projects.
• Control the CSO P&L, aligning costs with the approved budget.
• Monitor operational KPIs to maintain high service standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years experience in wind or a related industry.
• 3+ years in functional or disciplinary leadership or planning.
• Experience managing remote, field‑based teams is desirable.
• Vocational qualification and a formal degree in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
• Business management qualification or experience is highly desirable.
• GWO certifications.
• Proficient English.
• Candidate must be based in Lithuania.
