Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

Join Continental's Shared Service Center as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, supporting the finance function of a global tire manufacturer. You will handle daily cash processing, reconcile receivable accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Post bank statements, debtor payments, and credit‑card transactions.
• Process daily cash journals for multiple branches.
• Execute dunning procedures and resolve open‑payment queries.
• Reconcile intermediate, sub‑, and error accounts within the receivables area.
• Support audit inquiries and ad‑hoc reporting requests.
• Perform periodic accounting tasks such as accrual postings, KPI calculations, aging reports, and month‑end/year‑end close.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer for the new Shared Service Center.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining high customer‑service standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent work experience.
• Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English (minimum B2) and Norwegian (minimum B2).

Required skills

• SAP R3 experience, preferably FI & MM modules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
