Accounts Receivable Specialist

About the role

Join Continental's Shared Service Center as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, supporting the strategic growth of our tire business. You will handle daily cash processing, reconcile receivable accounts, and ensure accurate financial reporting while delivering high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Post bank statements, debtor payments, and credit‑card transactions.
• Process daily cash journals for multiple branches.
• Execute dunning procedures and resolve open‑payment claims.
• Reconcile intermediate, sub‑, and error accounts within the receivables area.
• Support audit queries and ad‑hoc requests.
• Perform periodical accounting tasks such as accrual postings, KPI calculations, aging reports, and month‑/year‑end closing.
• Assist in knowledge transfer to establish the new Shared Service Center.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries while maintaining excellent service standards.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent work experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English (minimum B2).
• Ability to work in a multicultural, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP R3 (FI & MM modules).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
