Associate – Finance & Banking (Legal)

About the role

NOEWE is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Finance & Banking team in Vilnius. You will work closely with senior lawyers to provide legal solutions for international and local clients operating in traditional finance, FinTech, and crypto‑asset markets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Finance & Banking team in delivering legal advice on a wide range of financial market topics.
• Obtain licences for crypto‑asset service providers and traditional financial market participants.
• Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance of financial market participants.
• Represent the firm in client meetings, advising on service development, risk management and compliance.
• Prepare and review legal documents to support smooth operation of national and international financial services.
• Represent clients’ interests in negotiations with regulatory authorities and state institutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law.
• Relevant legal work experience.
• Excellent command of Lithuanian and English.
• Proactive attitude, strong organisational abilities and high analytical accuracy.

Required skills

• Knowledge of finance and banking regulations, including MiCAR.
• Familiarity with crypto‑asset service provider regulations.
• Ability to draft and review legal documents for financial services.
