German Speaking Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking German‑speaking Security Engineers to support strategic and operational security initiatives within a large enterprise IT environment. The role focuses on Agentic AI, SaaS integrations and Security‑by‑Design, working closely with internal security, IT and business stakeholders across platforms such as Workday and SAP.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic and operational security initiatives across internal IT and applications, including Workday and SAP.
• Assess and address security requirements for Agentic AI, SaaS integrations, cloud environments and application security.
• Perform threat modeling, security assessments and reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
• Drive Security‑by‑Design principles throughout development and integration lifecycles.
• Manage vulnerability identification, assessment, prioritisation and remediation.
• Develop and maintain security concepts, technical documentation and requirements.
• Provide security consulting to IT, engineering and business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in security engineering or a related cybersecurity role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and SaaS security.
• Practical experience with application security and secure architecture principles.
• Solid experience in threat modeling, security assessments and security reviews.
• Experience with vulnerability management and security risk assessment.
• Fluent German and good English communication skills.
• Senior‑level experience with ability to own security initiatives.
• Willingness to travel as required.
