Global Sourcing Project Manager

About the role

An international manufacturing company is strengthening its Global Procurement organization and is looking for a Global Sourcing Project Manager. The role takes ownership of international sourcing projects, turning procurement strategies into business results. It covers countries, functions and supplier markets, leading projects from sourcing opportunity and supplier selection through negotiation and implementation. The position is based in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Key responsibilities

• Lead international sourcing projects from opportunity identification through implementation
• Execute global sourcing strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Manage supplier selection, RFQs, negotiations and supplier changes
• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Quality, Operations and Procurement
• Drive multiple projects forward, managing priorities, timelines, risks and measurable results
• Work with suppliers and colleagues across Europe and Asia, including international travel when needed

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or sourcing project management
• Experience leading cross-functional sourcing projects
• Proven track record of delivering cost savings and measurable results
• University degree and fluent English
