Production Planner

About the role

A global leader in beverage dispensing equipment for the brewing industry is hiring a Production Planner in Kaunas, Lithuania. The role involves creating weekly production plans, coordinating resources and working closely with production managers, line coordinators and other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly production plans and review production requirements at least two weeks in advance
• Determine the manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to meet production demand
• Monitor performance with production managers and line coordinators, and confirm shipping dates with the shipping department
• Plan and prioritize production operations to ensure maximum efficiency, stable schedules and minimal delays
• Identify bottlenecks, capacity limits and delivery risks early and drive their resolution with the relevant departments
• Cooperate with Purchasing, Production, Engineering and Shipping

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics or a similar technical field
• At least 2 years of practical experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Experience planning complex, multi-component products is an advantage
• Good English (B1 or above, spoken and written)

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage
• Customer orientation, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
