About the role

The Information Systems Administrator will be responsible for the operation, security and reliability of the MUKIS platform, which supports students' career education. This part‑time position offers the chance to work in a national non‑formal education agency.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the MUKIS system, ensuring continuous availability, security and performance.
• Monitor software behaviour, perform preventive maintenance and resolve incidents.
• Create regular backups and restore data when required.
• Manage user access rights and maintain server security.
• Watch server and network health, analyse performance metrics and apply updates.
• Prepare and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors and other IT service providers to solve technical issues.
• Provide technical support to end‑users according to competence.

Required profile

• Higher or postgraduate education in IT, computer science or a related field.
• At least one year of experience administering system software (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Ability to ensure uninterrupted system operation, perform configuration and updates.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to quickly identify and fix technical issues.
• Good command of Lithuanian and English.
