IT Network Administrator

About the role

FL Technics is seeking an IT Network Administrator to manage and support its global network infrastructure. You will ensure reliable connectivity across multiple locations, troubleshoot issues promptly, and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, operate, and support the company’s network infrastructure, handling incidents and change requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and hardware problems, escalating complex cases when needed.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors on network upgrades, projects, and topology design for smaller sites.
• Perform root‑cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to problem‑management activities.
• Provide technical guidance to onsite IT teams and maintain knowledge‑base articles.
• Monitor devices, identify bottlenecks, and optimise configurations for efficiency.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of network diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Support network‑connected infrastructure such as firewalls, switches, security cameras, entry‑control systems, and printers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, network engineering or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in network administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Strong customer‑service mindset and ability to communicate with technical and non‑technical users.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with enterprise firewalls and switches (Palo Alto, Fortinet, HPE Aruba).
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, routing, switching and VPN concepts.
• Network troubleshooting methodologies and root‑cause analysis.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL processes.
• Experience with network devices such as UniFi, ClearPass, and security cameras (Hikvision, Hanwha).
