Field Application Engineer – Lithuania

About the role

Quectel Wireless Solutions is seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to support customers across its extensive IoT portfolio, including 5G, LTE, GNSS and short‑range wireless products. You will act as a technical partner, delivering trainings, on‑site assistance and demo applications that simplify module integration.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support for the full range of Quectel wireless modules.
• Deliver customer trainings, product presentations and on‑site support, travelling as needed.
• Develop demo applications and reference firmware to showcase module capabilities.
• Collect and relay customer feedback, proposing feasible Quectel solutions.
• Prepare weekly technical reports on support activities and open issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, Marketing or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with embedded software design; hardware design experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with IoT protocols such as MQTT and CoAP.
• Proficiency in English and Lithuanian.

Required skills

• Embedded software development in C/C++ on Linux and RTOS platforms.
• Experience with cellular and short‑range wireless modules (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth).
• Knowledge of USB drivers, AT commands, SMS, voice, and TCP/IP processing.
