Legal Counsel

About the role

Eneba is building an open, safe and sustainable marketplace for gamers, with close to 20 million active users. Its Legal Team works with Product, Commerce and Marketing to support the company's growth while protecting its long-term interests. As Legal Counsel, you will be the primary point of contact for all business units and partner with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Embed yourself in the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, identifying legal and regulatory hurdles and designing pragmatic solutions.
• Translate complex legal risks into clear, business-oriented guidance for legal and business teams.
• Architect and implement the compliance strategy for emerging technologies such as AI, big data and online advertising, going deep on regulations like the DSA and DMA.
• Advise on global data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA) and embed privacy-by-design in products.
• Improve legal processes and documentation across EU, UK, US and SEA jurisdictions, covering brand protection, consumer dispute resolution and advertising standards.
• Lead and influence cross-functional projects and collaborate with leading external lawyers on complex legal questions.

Required profile

• Master's degree or equivalent in Law.
• 5+ years of experience at a top law firm or in-house, with a strong preference for fast-paced tech, e-commerce, media or gaming sectors.
• Strong tech-law expertise in intellectual property, data protection, consumer protection and platform regulation.
• Comfortable making fast, business-oriented decisions with incomplete information and able to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent time management, task ownership and prioritisation.
