Optical Equipment Operator

About the role

The Optical Equipment Operator is responsible for running production equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring that optical and plastic components are processed efficiently and safely. This role requires strict adherence to work instructions and a focus on maintaining product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and adjust machine parameters according to work instructions.
• Prepare raw materials and feed them into the production line.
• Move materials using a forklift and attach them to the equipment.
• Monitor the production process to ensure smooth operation.
• Perform quality checks and take product samples.
• Record batch numbers and weights in Excel.
• Crush and process plastic products/materials.
• Complete production and process documentation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace and ensure proper care of production equipment.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and operate machinery safely.
• Attention to detail for quality checks and accurate record‑keeping.

Required skills

• Excel for data entry and batch tracking.
• Forklift operation for material handling.
