Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer reporting to the Senior Director, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software integrations across Nasdaq's product ecosystem. You will work in a fast‑paced, globally connected environment, building robust automated testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and maintain test strategies and test cases for integrated systems and platforms.
• Drive integration and end‑to‑end testing across multiple products, collaborating with developers, product owners and business analysts.
• Contribute to test automation and CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, reliable releases.
• Identify, analyse and track defects through to resolution while supporting test data creation and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Several years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on test automation and integration testing.
• Hands‑on experience with modern QA practices, including CI/CD and shift‑left testing approaches.
• Experience within the FinTech industry is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of integration testing across distributed systems or microservices.
• Familiarity with applying AI or GenAI tools in a QA context.
