Trade Surveillance Data Support Analyst

About the role

As a Data Support Specialist reporting to the Senior Manager of Client Support Services, you will ensure the integrity and quality of data flows for Nasdaq's Trade Surveillance platform, serving over 150 market participants across 65 markets.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize and manage reported trading data issues with end‑to‑end incident ownership, ensuring timely resolution and clear client communication.
• Investigate and resolve data flow issues using server environments and data management tools to identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Collaborate with global cross‑functional teams to coordinate releases and deploy bug fixes that improve platform stability.
• Drive service‑improvement initiatives to reduce recurring data issues and enhance the client experience.
• Contribute to analysis and optimisation of existing data flows to support scalability and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Finance or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data operations or technical support, preferably in financial services or a technology‑driven environment.
• Hands‑on experience working in Linux environments and with data extraction, transformation and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex data issues independently in a fast‑paced, globally distributed setting.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
