Quality Control Specialist – Analytical Laboratory

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join its Analytical Laboratory team in Vilnius. You will be responsible for evaluating raw materials, intermediates and finished products, conducting stability studies and preparing quality documentation throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests on raw materials, intermediates and final products.
• Conduct stability studies and generate detailed reports.
• Analyze test results and assess compliance with quality specifications.
• Investigate non‑conformities and support root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare, review and update QC documentation in line with GMP and ISO requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation of laboratory data and test outcomes.
• Operate modern analytical laboratory equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bio‑engineering or related natural science.
• At least a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in a laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or quality‑control environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HPLC systems.
• Experience using spectrophotometers.
• Familiarity with flow cytometers.
• Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation.
• Good command of English.
• Competent use of MS Office applications.
