Quality Specialist (QPE) – Pre‑Production & Assembly

About the role

As a Quality Specialist (QPE) in the Business Division Electronics, you will ensure that pre‑production and assembly processes meet FORVIA HELLA’s strict quality standards. You will work on the Kaunas production site, collaborating across functions to drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the quality specialist for pre‑production and/or assembly areas, following prescribed quality guidelines.
• Support risk analysis (FMEA) and launch preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness.
• Identify root causes of quality deviations, feed them into Quality Improvement Plans (QIP) and drive corrective tasks.
• Transfer Control Plan content into plant‑specific tools, ensure correct application, and update the plan based on customer feedback, internal performance and risk assessments (e.g., P‑FMEA).
• Statistically evaluate quality KPIs to uncover product and process optimisation opportunities, especially in claim management.
• Conduct regular product audits and assess product deviations.
• Evaluate the impact of process and product changes on production.
• Perform statistical analysis for serial process and product inspections.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality assurance and production engineering.
• Proven experience in quality assurance and improvement activities.
• Excellent command of English.
• Purposeful, structured work approach with strong teamwork and communication skills.
