About the role
A well-established US-based logistics company is looking for a high-energy, motivated Safety Assistant to join its team in the Telšiai office. The position is full-time, with training provided.
Key responsibilities
- Log audit: record review of hours for accuracy and completeness
- Couching drivers for HOS (hours of service)
- Responding to accident calls, log issues and other safety-related problems
- Issuing permits
Required profile
- Fluent spoken and written English; Russian is a big plus
- Ability to work independently, with strong decision-making, problem-solving, time management and analytical skills
- Comfortable working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and comfort with heavy phone and computer use
Required skills
- General knowledge of computers and software such as MS Office and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of programs used in dispatching or administrative support
Working hours: Tuesday to Friday 15:00 to 00:00, Saturday 12:00 to 20:00.
