Sales Engineer – AI Coding Platform (EMEA)

About the role

As a Sales Engineer for Kimchi in the EMEA region, you will be the technical leader for the fastest‑moving product line, guiding large engineering organisations through proofs of concept that determine whether they adopt Kimchi’s AI‑powered coding platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical win by designing, installing, and configuring Kimchi’s multi‑session, multi‑model harness for each prospect.
• Run fast, well‑scoped proof‑of‑concepts from the first architecture discussion to a signed evaluation.
• Integrate the OpenAI‑compatible inference gateway, migrate existing agent workflows, and demonstrate value against the customer’s own code repositories.
• Collaborate with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Platform Engineering leaders, and senior developers to translate Kimchi’s value proposition into clear business and technical outcomes.
• Travel across the EMEA region to conduct on‑site demos, architecture workshops, and security reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Field Engineer in developer tools, AI/ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on fluency with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot or similar.
• Working knowledge of LLM serving and integration, including OpenAI‑compatible APIs, inference gateways, token economics and tool calling.
• Comfortable working in a terminal, debugging customer codebases and scripting configurations live on a call.
• Track record of converting technical evaluations into signed business contracts, including enterprise security and architecture reviews.
• Based in the EMEA region with the right to work locally and willingness to travel.
