Security Engineer – Full Remote (Lithuania)

About the role

As a Security Engineer you will own the protection of EverAI’s AI companionship platform, its users and collaborators. Working remotely, you will be hands‑on across application security, risk & compliance, and security awareness while monitoring AI‑specific threats.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities before release.
• Track, prioritize and drive remediation of security findings across the technology stack.
• Coordinate external security audits and penetration tests and follow up on findings.
• Maintain and evolve the company risk register, mapping services and prioritising exposures.
• Support audit follow‑up and keep GRC documentation up to date.
• Communicate new threats, document findings and broadcast security updates company‑wide.
• Run phishing simulations and security training via Riot.
• Own monitoring of security alerts and provide weekend coverage to ensure no incident goes unanswered.
• Set up and manage IT access controls and related processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on security professional comfortable working remotely and reporting to the Security Lead.
• Strong sense of ownership for protecting products, users and collaborators.
