Senior / Principal Full Stack Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level Full Stack Software Engineer to join Nortal’s engineering team. The role involves designing and building backend services in Java (Spring / Spring Boot) and creating modern web interfaces with React or Angular, contributing to projects that impact millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop and maintain high‑quality software across the stack.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Translate product specifications into technical specifications and deliver using AI‑assisted development tools.
• Apply architectural patterns and best practices to ensure scalability, performance, security and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing and technical guidance.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional full‑stack development experience.
• Strong backend expertise with Java and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular) with TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, unit/integration testing and software design principles (SOLID, design patterns).
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology and fluent English communication.
