Senior Analytics Engineer (AI & Quality)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer who will act as the guardian of data truth across our global media platform. In this role you will combine deep analytics expertise with a strong quality‑assurance mindset to ensure that every insight driving business decisions is reliable and trustworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate analytics work produced by other teams, identifying flawed reasoning, bad assumptions, or unsupported conclusions.
• Design and maintain automated test datasets, reusable checks and guardrails that scale quality controls without manual bottlenecks.
• Lead complex, high‑risk analyses from start to finish when business questions become messy.
• Own upstream data quality and governance, defining what “correct” data means for the organization.
• Coach non‑technical teams, especially editorial, on responsible use of AI‑assisted analytics tools and on sanity‑checking their own outputs.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science or data‑quality roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to read, debug and optimise code written by others.
• Solid grounding in statistics and a sharp QA instinct for spotting methodological errors.
• Comfort using AI‑assisted workflows while maintaining healthy skepticism of their outputs.
• Experience in high‑volume environments such as social media, digital traffic or web analytics.
• Fluent English communication skills.
