Senior Associate - GDPR & IT Law

About the role

EY Law Firm, an independent law firm within the EY Global network, is looking for a Senior Associate in Lithuania to act as a trusted advisor in GDPR and/or IT law. The role works closely with EY Baltics and other EY member firms to help businesses navigate complex legal challenges, mitigating risks and supporting sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on GDPR and data protection compliance, including data processing agreements, privacy policies and data breach response.
• Provide legal assistance on IT law matters such as software licensing, IT procurement contracts and digital services regulation.
• Assist clients with TMT regulatory matters, including e-commerce, electronic communications and platform regulation.
• Work with a team of experts in M&A, employment, commercial, corporate, AI law and real estate.
• Provide legal and business advice to clients and identify their legal and business requirements.
• Look for new ways to create value for clients alongside more senior team members.
• Delegate and oversee the work of junior associates.

Required profile

• Strong expertise and work experience in GDPR, IT and/or TMT law; expertise in one of these areas is sufficient.
• Master's degree in law.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently in a collaborative, international environment.
• Excellent communication skills, client-focused mindset and teamwork, including delegating and supervising juniors.
• Curiosity about legal developments and a commitment to professional growth.
• Excellent spoken and written Lithuanian and English.

• Salary of EUR 2,900 - 4,300 gross, depending on skills and experience.
