Senior GL Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior GL Accountant to join a fast‑growing international company in Lithuania. You will own the end‑to‑end General Ledger (GL) process for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with Lithuanian GAAP and IFRS while supporting continuous improvement of month‑end close efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily and monthly GL processing for assigned entities.
• Prepare accounting entries in accordance with IFRS and Lithuanian GAAP.
• Support and enhance the month‑end close process, driving accuracy and timeliness.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure clean ledger balances.
• Assist internal and external audit activities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a GL Accountant or Senior GL Accountant, preferably in a scale‑up environment.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger and Record‑to‑Report (R2R) processes.
• Accounting education or professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CPA (highly desirable).
• Good understanding of IFRS and Lithuanian GAAP.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to adapt to process improvements.
