Senior Lawyer – Finance & M&A

About the role

Ignitis Group is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join its shared service centre legal team. You will provide legal support for complex financing and M&A transactions, ensuring smooth execution, risk management, and close collaboration with finance, project and other business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support for financing projects, including project financing, syndicated loans, corporate finance and capital market transactions.
• Support M&A projects on both buy‑side and sell‑side, including partnerships.
• Lead due‑diligence reviews, negotiate terms, manage post‑closing legal matters, and draft or review contractual documentation.
• Coordinate external advisors and organise legal projects efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with treasury, investment, project teams and other internal stakeholders.
• Handle day‑to‑day legal issues related to finance and M&A.

Required profile

• University degree in law (master’s or higher).
• At least 5 years of legal experience, with 2+ years focused on finance or M&A transactions.
• Strong legal drafting abilities and experience handling complex legal issues.
• Excellent negotiation, coordination and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English and Lithuanian.
